The contemporary art scene doesn't always have it easy. Many artists are looking for a permanent home for their projects online – often lacking the resources to maintain one.
One of our core commitments is to support artists wherever possible – through special conditions or by hosting their web projects.

Collaboration with Shu Lea Cheang

In particular, we work closely with the artist Shu Lea Cheang. Together we have realised numerous projects over the years.

Every collaboration with artists presents new challenges. Artists approach technology from a completely different angle and envision things in ways that may seem technically impossible at first. Realising such projects sometimes pushes us to the limits of technology – limits we would never reach in everyday work. And going beyond those limits to achieve even more is the art on our side. That way, both sides always benefit.
